PADI & SDI SPECIALTY DIVER COURSES

You've done your Open Water course, and maybe even completed Advanced open water training, but now you are looking to learn new skills or even a new type of diving.

If that's the case, then the best way to scratch that itch is with a specialty dive course. It would be hard for any diver to honestly say that they wouldn't want to try at least one specialty, whether it's venturing into the deep blue - 40 meters/130 feet beneath the surface, fine-tuning your buoyancy or tackling something entirely different like Sidemount diving. If there are a few courses that capture your imagination, we could even look at putting together a special training program for you, to help you achieve the Master Scuba Diver certification - the highest level of recreational training available to non-professional divers.

WHAT ARE
THE OPTIONS?

Some of the Specialty courses have specific prerequisites, but it really does come down to what you are most interested in. These courses are all about developing the skills and tools needed to help you become a more knowledgeable, experienced, and confident diver while putting it all into practice on the Great Barrier Reef.

Each course provides the theoretical foundation in the related field,  covering aspects such as equipment selection & preparation, special dive planning considerations, and in-water techniques.

This is also where you will benefit from rubbing shoulders with our instructors, who bring years of experience to the table and will help you hone your abilities during the course, and prepare you for your future diving adventures.

While there are a wide variety of specialty dive courses offered by both PADI and SDI, we have taken a carefully chosen selection which we believe are areas of knowledge, skill, and experience that we are strongest in, and therefore able to provide a high level of training to our students in those areas. If there's a particular course or type of training that you are interested in but that isn't on our list, please CONTACT US, to see if it is something that we can arrange for you.
